 Pray AND Play
What comes to mind when you hear the term, "Spiritual Disciplines?" Hours of prayer, fasting, an albino monk whipping himself until he bleeds (thanks, Dan Brown)? What about taking a walk in the woods, listening to relaxing music, or playing your favorite musical instrument?
Pastor Scott is on a mission to help us all understand the beauty, necessity, and blessing of Spiritual Disciplines (and he might correct some far-out preconceptions too). These gatherings are for anyone seeking to go deeper in their faith journey.

 Pastors at the Pub
Join us this Wednesday (and every second Wednesday of the month) for a time of casual discussion of faith, culture, and anything else you want to talk about.

A perfect opportunity for you or a friend to ask that question about last week's message, a nagging theological issue, or an interesting thought that's been on your mind. Not much is off limits here. So, bring your questions and bring a friend to enjoy a cold one and great conversation.

 Musician's Guild Meeting
With the impending move there are going to be some changes and great opportunities in the Musician's Guild. Pastor Mike is asking all our musicians and those interested in helping with music to make time for a very important meeting:

Prayer and Praise:
- Praise for Sue L's cast coming off today. Please pray as she continues to recover from some pretty intense foot surgery.
- Please pray for Sandy V. who is suffering from cranial neuropathy (inflammation of the nerves on both sides of the head, very painful). Pray for relief from the physical, emotional, and spiritual pain.
- Please pray for Bethany's Great Uncle and Aunt. Both are dealing with severe heath issues. Pray for strength as the family surrounds them with love and support.
- Please pray for Donna as she recovers from surgery.
- Pray for spiritual health and financial stability of Artisan as we prepare for the upcoming move to our new location (German House, October 1).
- Pray that we would continue to have a burden on our hearts for the lost and hurting of our neighborhood and city.
